The state of Hawaii was the 50th state admitted into the union of the United States of America.  It is the only state that is not only, not on the North American continent, but is also the only state made up entirely of islands.  The Hawaiian archipelago consists of hundreds of islands with the main eight being the most visited.  Kaua'i, Ni'ihau, O'ahu, Molaka'i, Lana'i, Kaho'olawae, Maui and Hawaii, or The Big Island of Hawaii.
